Regular brushing helps to remove loose hair, prevent mats, and keep their coat healthy and shiny.

For their thick undercoat, use a slicker brush or pin brush

Start brushing your Golden Retriever's head and neck, then work your way down their body.

If you do find any mats, use a detangling spray or conditioner to help loosen them.

They should be bathed every 6-8 weeks or so

Brush your Golden Retriever's teeth at least 2-3 times a week to prevent plaque and tartar buildup.

Trim your Golden Retriever's nails every few weeks, or as needed

Check your Golden Retriever's ears for dirt and debris weekly
